January 5, 200620 yr How about this? An addon to FS9 that runs independantly and allows you to manage and grow your own airline. You develop routes by flying them, then schedule flights with the aircraft you purchase/lease. Pax demand coupled with your airline's reputation, service levels, ticket prices, etc. will determine your loads as well as destinations served. FS Airline will generate pax demand between any two citypairs and these pax will then book passage through your (or someone elses) network, so it's not a simple point-to-point system. What's more, the AI airlines you have installed will also make decisions and change schedules, aircraft, etc. which will be visually noticable in FS9. One day, you may land at KORD and see a UA B735 preparing to leave for KBOS. The next, it's been changed to an A320, leaving 20 minutes later, to better fit their departure bank. Or maybe, Comair has signed an agreement with Northwest and will now be flying under the Airlink banner. Anything's possible. Well, almost anything! Stop by http://fsairline.proboards80.com and let me know if you're interested in testing or, if you have anything you would like to see in it. It's about 70% done now and I will be looking for a handful of beta testers at some point in the near future. The demo version will be setup for only the default FS9 airlines and aircraft. However, the full version will be fully customizable with a series of editors (these have been completed and tested already). You will be able to configure FSA to whatever airlines, aircraft and airports you have in your personal FS9 "world." I do have 1 question already, on how to link up with some data from FS9. Basically, I'd like to be able to dump the following into a txt file from FS9, so that I can upload it into FSA:Departure Airport CodeArrival Airport CodeTotal Fuel BurnedTotal Time (From pushback to shutdown)I assume FSUIPC would be involved. Any ideas? Thanks!
