Directing AI Traffic using Adventure Basic Language (AB...

Quick and dirty:Can ABL be used to control AI aircraft autopilot settings at regular intervals?*Can AI traffic be initialized at the beginning of the flight at predetermined locations (preferably already in flight)? Is there an ABL command that can take a screen shot and save it to a designated location and file name?*We are using Flight Simulator 2002 Professional (with wideview to project to multiple monitors)Long and boring:We are currently designing an experiment to test pilots' ability to detect aircraft on a collision course. Ideally we would like to create a flight wherein various AI craft start from initial positions in the world and a script adjusts their autopilot at regular intervals so that they fly to a point ahead of the player's aircraft based on position and heading etc. We are currently restricted to Flight Simulator 2002 Professional based on our simulator setup.Currently the way to do this (I think) would be to use a script in the ABL language. The ABL software developer kit (SDK) has get/set properties for aircraft that I assume can be used to adjust AI autopilot settings. The stumbling block right now is with regards to creating the AI craft in their designated positions at the beginning of the flight (flight files (.flt) do not seem to contain inital information about any plane other than the player's, so the traffic portion of FS must add them afterward . . .).Though one can record video of a flight, for our purposes the exact image on the screen is of interest for image analysis later. We can take a screen shot when the pilot detects another plane, but it would also be useful to take screen shots at regular intervals as well (unless this proves to be too much of an interuption to the flight due to pausing). Is there a way to take screenshots using ABL?I've spent some time looking at some of the very many add-ons for FS02 and haven't found anything really geared toward the level of control we want to have over the AI craft, but if something already exists that can do this for us just point the way. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
