Hi,I'm looking into making a program that can access VATSIM information for use while air traffic controlling. Does anyone know how to access the VATSIM data for read-only purposes like servinfo does?

I'll kick in since no one else has. VATSIM is a closed system - that is every developer I have contacted is not able to disclose their source. Nothing like having to recreate the wheel. :(OTOH, check out MCDU.org and in particular the FSD which is used to transport data to/from your FS2004 and VATSIM. Some good info can be gleaned from it. Just be aware that your FS2004 will connect directly to MCDU to resolve aircraft visual types. And that connection (apparently) falls under the VATSIM restriction (FSInn) and the source for that is "classified".Senior Captain, Pier Glass Aviation
