I would like to design a approach chart viewer that displays either a .pdf or a .gif file. Not sure if I should use VB or C++ or whether to make it a web based program or a windows app. Any suggestions on what I should start with?Thanks,Chris

Presuming you will use the kneeboard - I'd say web based. If you pull your charts from a web site - stick with the web. I'd avoid pdfs simply because that is more software to load which may interfere with your frame rate.Good luck!Senior Captain, Pier Glass Aviation
