accidentally placed in the General forum, so I repeat here :Every once I a while I see files or advertisements that connect the Project Tupolev Tu-154B2 with an older Tu-154 model here in the library, mostly to get a VC.The original Project Tupolev Tu-154B2 (the current review was based on) is ONLY available at http://tu154.avsim.ru and should not be changed.I strongly advise not to install solutions, that have been uploaded elsewhere, because then you loose the well balanced flight dynamics and the accurate elevator/stabilizer/CoG handling. These flight dynamics have even lead a German reviewer (with real world Tu-154 experience) to mention, the plane in FS flies better than in a commercial Tu-154 simulator in Sofia and the Tu-154 being the first plane in FS that REALLY behaves like a big jet. Please do not loose this for optical reasons.The Project Tupolev team is aware some users would like a VC.Michael

Hallo MichaellI use both the original PT Tu-154 version 9.3.2 and Kokais Tu-154 + PT Tu-154 version 9.3.2. merged by me.Merged Tu-154 has the newest PT dynamic 154b_04v9 and original PT aircraft.cfg - only smokesystem, lights, effects, contact points, exits and views sections were changed.So I suppose it could be OK at least I did`t find any difference in flight characteristic till now, BUT I am not an expert. (I use also Load manager without any problems).I use Tibors Tu-154 model because I like more its exterior and VC for taxiing, take off and finall approach isn`t bad too.Needed file is tu154vc.zip in Avsim library (for 9.3 version) and the newest panel.cfg and aircraft.cfg (for 9.3.2 version) http://sweb.cz/pavlon/Tu154vc_932.zipBest regards Zbynek

Hi Zbynek,After version 9.3, I read some messages in various fora of users that reported problems during landing. In all cases it turned out, they did everything correct, but they had the merge installed. In 9.3. the custom elevator/stabilizer handling was introduced, so maybe contact point or CG position changes could be responsible for that ? I had no time to test that though. It also should be mentioned, the merge changes the actual accurate model to an old model with many inaccuracies.And as said already, the PT team knows about the VC requests ;). Michael

I had a problem of inverted rudder axis 3 months ago, and the PT team did a special gauge for me (what a support!), so I would say they can be quite a lot, but surely not arrogant. Zuki, I read you feedback to my review now, I'll try your panel modification out and will let you know.Regards,Daniel

They even do individual support as Daniel described. I do as much support as I can in various fora, all in my spare time. If people report problems, I don't even know if they have the original package installed or whatever merge, that MIGHT lead to problems. It does not make the support easier, it further complicates it. You modify the original panel with icons and buttons and upload it somewhere. Ever thought the team might have a different view regarding such modifications ?Additionally the main developers don't speak english.IMHO terms like "arrogant" are way off.Michael
