Tu154b2 panel navigation

Featured Replies

Ok, call me what you want, but:1) how does one get back to the pilot cockpit after switching to the co-pilot panel via click on rightmost support?2) same question, from the flight engineer panelI know this has been staring me in the face for a while but I give up .Right now I get back to the main panel by switching to an external view and back - surely (Shirley?) there's a better way...Cheers,

Yup, there's a better way : The Space key.Michael

Hey,Or on the "joystick octodirectional hat switch" (lol I don't now the real name anymore), you put it in one direction, and the voew comes back to the main view. But I think Michael's explanation is easier lol :DHave nice flights,

Spacebar... Yes of course, that was in the tutorial *doh*Speaking of the joystick - the coolie hat is disabled (since the joysticks are disco from FS - would be nice to have that enabled.(dev question): Anybody know if the FSUIPC offset 0x310A (controls the input of joysticks into FS) can be used to effectively disconnect the joysticks from the TU154 model while not disconnecting the other neat stuff (such as, differential braking and coolie hats?).

>> Speaking of the joystick - the coolie hat is disabled (since the joysticks are disco from FS - would be nice to have that enabled. You can, please check out the manual on page 12 : "Also the eight coolie hat buttons are provided (code 120-127)". Differential braking (brake_left, brake_right) is also supported.30 functions for buttons are provided, all these (with the real plane functionality on view) would make sense to put on buttons of stick/yoke/pedestal or whatever. You need to define all these functions in the Shift-7 Joystickpanel, then they are stored in the cfg-file. So you only need to do this once.Michael

Hi Michael,Thanks for the reply. On my system with 3 input devices, the coolie hat seem to be 332 through 339 from what I can tell (device 1 is my Saitek, device 2 my pedals, and device 3 the yoke), but I still can't get this to work exactly as expected in an outside view, and in particular, return to center gives me a problem.I will investigate this further, as well as the use of my pedal axes for diff braking.Regards,
