FMS questions ESAD, GND dist/fuel

All,Please help to understand following FMS data:1.) ESAD: I got this - and found it very cool - however I'd like to know where FMS gets wind date to calculate ESAD. This is real info or dummy/fake. If it is based on real numbers how altitude impacts calculation?I need this info when flying long run of 1100nm.2.) How does Ground distance per LB fuel ratio utilized in real life. My understanding is that distance range is calculeted on the same page which makes that info useless...regards,Tamas
