Spoiler Problem on the A320

When I go into the throttle screen and arm the spoilers and than go to a outside view the spoilers are up.What am I doing wrong or is it the aircraft? JeffG

When does this happen? If it is on the ground prior to take off then yes that will happen. You do not need to arm the spoilers prior to take off.
