A330 Autopilot Pitch Control

Hello all,Ive come back to flightsimming after a few months off, and decided to take a flight in the 330-300. However, once I engage autopilot, the autopilot does not take control of pitch from me, the FD works fine, but once I let go of the joystick the plane usually either stalls or nosedives due to the fact that the pitch control isnt working. The lateral navigation works fine though. Im using the PSS model (no merges or anything)Thanks
