fs2002 Cold Start Problem

Featured Replies

I recently installed FLight One's 737-400 package. They have a procedure that sets the simulation to a cold start. When I run any other plan they now start with engines off. Yet, I can find no setting in fs2002 that permits this to happen. Any ideas what is happening here. I am planning to reverse the procedure in the 737-400 but even if that works it does not explain how all the planes are starting cold. THanks for any insight.

The Flight1 flight is your default "startup" flight, I assume? I.E. that's what loads when you start FS2002? Following flights will inherit their state from the previous one. So if your plane is cold and you start a new flight, the new one will load cold too. Likewise, if you started the engines and then started a new flight, the engines should now be running when the new flight loads.
