fs2004 saved aircraft state issue

gentswhen i have the aircraft configured as i like it, engines running, route programmed, etc - i choose "Save Flight" from FS2004, and no worries.The next time i load up FS2004, and i pick the saved flight, i.e. "Airbus KJFK", i am returned to a cold cockpit.then i have to restart everything from scratch.what am i missing?cheers-mike
