I got the A340 Professional product from PC Aviator (on a CD) and when I flew the plane (A340-300 Lufthansa livery) and turned on the autothrottle, it would only set the N1 to 89.5% and somehow, the plane would slow down even during level flight! I then set the autothrottle off and hand throttled, and it took 96% N1 to keep the plane at a constant speed above .78 mach.
