Airbus A319/320/321 thrust settings

Recommended Posts

Guest Batur77

Dear Airbus pilots,I've a question about thrust values on how to set the correct thrust lever value according to the variations of the airport rwy conditionsMy 1st question pertains to an information which i have heard from one of my friends that it is strictly advised in PSS to use the flex values with minus mark (-) prior to setting of Flex Take off temperatures due to programming error of the pss software.e.g: -42 or -45is that correct ? My 2nd question is; can any expert please tell me how to decide which setting of the thrust levers should be determined ? Which conditions or criteria should be considered and examined whilst determining the correct thrust lever setting ? Rwy surface: dry or wet ? weather temperature ? etc etc..Could you please write me something with a language of a user'a guide or hand manual ?Thank you very muchBaturPSS A319/320/321 Senior First Officer

PLEASE IGNORE MY PREVIOUS MESSAGE ABOVE !!Because, I've read some posts concerning my question in the previous forums about the calculation of the settings and therefore i have found Roland Wukovitz's freeware calculator programme as a result of these questions which can simply be put into application from the shortest cut :)Thanks other folks.
