Hi, I made several times instalations of the FS2002 and in the beginning beaches and sea come with waves, but after installing addons for FS waves turn into squares almost everywhere in every place which has water/sea. Someone has ideas how to solve this problem? Thanks, nuno

Hi Nuno,I had exactly the same problem (see "What happened to my waves" in this forum on Jan 23 with a picture). Try this:Open the FS2002 directory. Change the name of the folder "effects"to e.g. "Old_effects". Open your FS2002 CD disc #1 in the Explorer.Look for "FS2002.cab". Open it with WinAce (if you do not have this program you can copy the 48 MB file from the CD to a temporary place on your HD and open it with Winzip). Go to FS2002.cabGame and copy "effects" to your FS2002 directory. Start the sim and check if your waves are normal. If so, compare the contents of "effects" and "Old_effects" and add possible missing files from the former to the latter. After that, delete "effects" from your FS2002 directory and change the name back again of "Old_effects" to "effects".Hope this will work as successfully for you as it did for me.Regards, Roland
