FS2002 ATPL Check-ride

Recommended Posts

Guest

Anyone actually passed the ATPL check-ride in fs2002 on the 737-400? Every time I do the hold I'm told I've flown outside the hold airspace. I've maintained speed and altitude, entered the hold in the proper manner and I still get a fail.

http://members.chello.at/matthias.holzer/airline.htmlIn a nutshell, when you fly DIRECTLY over the VOR, you temporarily are in the "cone of silence" and don't receive a signal from it (as in real life). MSFS incorrectly assumes that, if you're not receiving the VOR signal you are therefore out of range, and it flunks you. The solution is to fly VERY slightly to one side of the VOR so that you continue to receive the signal.
