ATC problem!

Featured Replies

Hi everybody! Can someone help me please on an ATC problem?Maybe the answer is somewhere on the site wich I can't find and also this is my first post!.......So a bit lost!I mostly fly with ATC and real weather!.....When I'm at say 19000ft ATC will tell me that I'm at 300ft above assigned altitude!....Then I press the B key to see if I'm at right altitude, and I am!....So I have to descend at 18700ft to stay in contact with them!....Quite annoying isn't it?...........I often press the B key even within ATC's interventions to check my altitude!!!....Could that be the reason why???.....Did anybody have this problem????I'm using FS2002!Thank you for coop!Pharb!

Flights above FL180 in MS ATC should be flown using a standard altimeter setting of 1013.2 Mb or 29.92". In practice the altitude where you set this standard setting varies from country to country. In MS world (and the USA) its FL180...Gary
