"Expanded scale" on ILS in B777 PFD

I only see the expanded ILS scale when I'm close enough to the localizer (the horizontal scale). I don't see it on the glide slope (the vertical scale). I've looked a couple of times as I drifted from above to below or from below to above without seeing it. I thought it used to be there, but maybe I mis-remember. Should it be there? Thanks.

I believe the expanded scale feature is a localizer only mode -- it's not done with the glideslope indicator. :)
