Featured Replies

Hi Simmers, (Sorry, there are three images in this post - but this is an important milestone to me.)http://www.gjsmith.com/images/400th-add.jpgSince the beginning of the release of FS2002 I have been a little engrossed in the reflective effects that have become available for the aircraft textures. Many have implied that I overdo the reflective effects a titch, but I do enjoy doing them which is obvious from the many textures that are now available for FREE on my site.Well, the 400th texture for release is now available and to commemorate my affliction for reflective effects this one is indeed a shiny one - the LTU livery for the Mike Stone L1011.http://www.gjsmith.com/images/L1011-LTU-400-4.jpgShe is available on the L1011 page:http://www.gjsmith.com/Textures/l1011.htmBut for those who enjoy a little more passive approach to the textures I have dedicated texture number 399 to a LOT livery for the ATR72-500 (another Mike Stone aircraft) http://www.gjsmith.com/images/atr72-LOT-2.jpgThis FREE texture is available on the ATR72-500 page:http://www.gjsmith.com/Textures/ATR72-500.htmSo my friends - 400 FREE textures now available for your flying please. If you don't know where to start when you visit my site, because of so many textures, may I recommend the Catalog pages.http://www.gjsmith.com/textures/catalog.htm And of course, please feel free to use my Guestbook or other features on my site, they exist for your convenience and I hope my textures are of value to you and enhance your flying pleasure.http://www.gjsmith.com/images/gjsmithdotcom-2.gifGarry J. Keep up the excellent work buddy. Your shiny textures are number one in my book....Cheers and God Bless :-wave

There is nothing wrong with your affliction, Garry! The top of my head has been real shiny for a while now and I too learned to like the reflective effects. :-lolThanks for all of your hard work. I think you reflective textures are the greatest, and I appreciate you giving them to the community.:-beerchugPete S

Thanks Gentlemen,Your support and appreciative comments are well received.Pete - I understand the "chrome Dome" principle as I have had a shiny top for many years, maybe that is the reason I get so keen on the reflective textures :7Thanks again.http://www.gjsmith.com/images/gjsmithdotcom-2.gifGarry J. I agree too... not many people can make a plane look "that" metallic. I only have about 25 airplanes with your textures so far... guess I should start downloading .

Thanks Eagle92395,Though many of my textures have some effects there is also many with very little or even none - some dirty textures and even some historical recreations. But I do love my reflective effects and when I get a chance I enjoy really pushing it. :-)Regards http://www.gjsmith.com/images/gjsmithdotcom-2.gifGarry J.
