December 31, 200718 yr I have written an FSX client/Server application. The client requires the SimConnect client installing, i.e. simconnect.msi from the SDK folder on the FSX deluxe disk. I don't have FSX "standard" version (i.e. without SDK), so i was wondering whether the standard version also has some version of simconnect.msi, and how that gets service packs like the SDK version has. If it is not included, can I legally redistribute it with my application?ThanksSimon
January 1, 200818 yr Hi Simon!Finished with the 747's :) ?I'm afraid there's a negative answer to your question here by either John, Paul, George or Ringo:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=1001&page=3Daniel
January 2, 200818 yr Hi Daniel,Yes, onto the 757s now :-)Thanks for the reference. It be interesting to know what the sales ratio is between standard and deluxe. I guess the "hard-core" type simmer who'd go to the trouble of setting up a remote SimConnect client will be more likely to have the SDK anyway.RegardsSimon
