October 23, 200619 yr I am using FS9 on my laptop which has a widescreen display (1280 X 768). I like the display for most of my work and I am thinking of getting one for my desktop. On the widescreen, the 2D cockpit window fills the screen, and is stretched horizontally:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/159497.jpgThe virutal cockpit and all other screens seem to be fine:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/159498.jpgI am running Falcon 4.0 and its equivalent of a 2D screen appears with the sides chopped off to avoid the distortion:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/159499.jpgCan anyone offer any suggestions as to how I might configure FS9 to eliminate the distortion and get an equivalent result as in Falcon 4.0?Thanks,James
October 23, 200619 yr My laptop has an 1280 x 800 ws and it has a selection on the screen options to maintain aspect ratio, selected it and makes FS 2D 1024x768 the size I have FS display set at.
October 23, 200619 yr Thanks a lot! Worked a treat. Is there any way to isolate the 2D in 1024x768 and get the rest of the screens in wide screen like I do in Falcon 2.0? The Falcon 2D looks like this:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/159506.jpgand the rest look like this:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/159507.jpgThanks again.James
