Anyone using the Radeon 9000 Pro? Any comments would be appreciated. My system specs are:HP PIII 733384 MB MemoryTNT2 16 MB video cardThanks,Joe KIAD

Hi Joe,The ATI 9700 Pro is a fantastic video card, but I'm not sure a 733 MHZ CPU will enable you to utilize it to its potential. I suggest you check with ATI's customer service ar www.ati.com and get their opinion.Regards, John

Joe is asking about a Radeon 9000PRO. I don't think that your system will use the full potenial, but I bet it will look and play alot better than what you have now. You will be going from 16MB to 128MB on board memory. The 9000PRO will get you a video bd that supports DirectX9.0 also. I believe that the 9000PRO is comparible to the nVidia GeForce4 MX bds. You do need to upgrade the rest of your system though. Hope that helps a bit.Ron

Thanks for the replies.A GF3 Ti500 would be a good card given my specs and they're under $100 mail order. Something to think about until my next major upgrade in a year or so.
