Black aircraft selection window !

Featured Replies

I've recently turned off AA in fs & turned it (& AF) on in my nVidia 6800, running at the native screen resolution of 1680x1050. The selection window is now black but when I drop the resolution down a notch, the selection window appears with the selected aircraft!!I was wondering if anyone knew how I could get the window with aircraft in it back? Oh - not turning the resolution down!!Thanks.

Try setting your AA to 4X. Anything higher seems to be a problem with the NVIDIA cards. Maybe someday they will fix this known bug.Cheers

Thanks - AA is at 4 & AF at 8 already. This didn't happen when I had AA enabled in fs9. So it's a bug is it? Funny how reducing the resolution to the next setting brings the aircraft back?!

Mine is the same with the nvida card. It waffles back and forth between working and the black screen. It seem like it is always on the verge of working proper or not and if any extra "stuff" is running it is guaranteed not to work. Turning down the AA definitely stops it but I don't wanna do that from it's present 4X on the card.

One way to see the aircraft you are selecting is to switch to windowed mode. You can then switch to fullscreen when the plane has loaded.Carlos

Thanks - I'll try that!
