January 1, 200719 yr Hello all http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/aktion/a...-smiley-030.gifHappy New Year http://www.planet-smilies.de/kaos/CreamPuf...s/pconfetti.gifIm intrigued by ActiveSky which I have been reading about on various sites, the screenshots seem really nice and so does the depth of the program. However I could not find any mention of transitions which is what my decision to purchase will be based on.In real life as you leave the clouds to enter clear sky above the effect is not instantaneous, you see the cloud thinning and then the last few wisps whip past your plane until you gradually enter clear air. In FS9 the default effect is a HORRIBLE instataneous change http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/wuerg/vomit-smiley-011.gifDoes ActiveSky have these subtle transition-effects?Thanks much!***EDIT***Just saw the previous post about AS that answered my question. Should read more carefully before posting http://www.nextgenerationrecords.co.uk/boa...con_redface.gif
January 2, 200719 yr If this is true, what settings make this possible. I run the latest ActiveSky version but have always experienced instantaneous weather changes even when going from one end of the airport to another.Michael
January 2, 200719 yr Hi Michael,Have you given up to 5 minutes for FS to fully process the weather? On that initial load it could take this long depending on the data and your system. In air, it is the suppression settings that need to be used correctly. Please be careful here, we are not talking about instant visibility changes; those cannot be fixed by anything.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
