..odd word to spell and it was doing odd things to the ATC today. An evening flight under VFR, ATIS told me the runway they were using, then I chose the airport, chose to land, and when presented with the choice for runway pressed the key and......Nothing happened..silence...silence.I thought I had a bug perhaps and checked that ATC was still talking, which it was elsewhere. I will fly there again to see if it was a one-off oddity. Perhaps a coffee break?Andy.

I've had the same type thing occur at KABQ,(I can't spell it either), where I was told "IFR plan cancelled, squawk 1200" when I was inbound about 30nm out. The same thing has happened to me at KATL and EDDF on several occasions. I thinks it's a random FS9 quirk that happens every now and then. I just ignore ATC and comtinue VFR, then contact the tower when I'm in range. Don't try this in real life though.John M
