Weird colors and ugly cloud appearance under Vista

Featured Replies

Hi,I have a new laptop with a Nvidia Geforce Go7600 and Windows Vista. I installed FS9 and it doesn't really work well. I have good fps, but the colors when flying at night look there would be a rainbow all over the sky, buildings are blue or red, even the aircraft have a redish glow. When I load some clouds, they are edgy and look really ugly. I use newest Nvidia drivers, 158.18.I had a similar problem with the game Far Cry, but then I patched the game and it worked, but there is no such patch for FS9.Anybody any idea what that could be?Thank you!

Un-install the drivers (driver-cleaner or similar program), make sure you get rid of all traces. Install the new drivers, re-install the latest DirectX version. Delete the fs9.cfg, so fs can rebuild it upon launch that way no other traces are found there either.. That should in most cases solve color issues.
