I only have (1)HD 200gb. Has 3 partitions. C:winxpo/s E:misc and D:FS9. Would like opinion on where to put Page File. Have 1gbRam.Thanks,Dick:-hmmm

If you only have one HDD in your system, my preference is to just leave the page file where it is. It makes no difference if you move the PF to another partition on the same drive, the drive heads still have to move to that location to access it.The only instance I can think of where you would want to move the page file is if you have 2 or more HDD's. In that case, you would move the PF to a drive that does not contain the OS.Even then, with newer systems and SATA 3.0 drives, the difference is usually negligible.Hope this helps,Steve
