FS9 Installation DVD

Recommended Posts

Guest Josithota

I've mounted a FS9 installation by copying all the files from the original package to a bootable DVD, including the autorun.inf file.As happens with the installation via CD's, setup.exe halts after opening a window with 4 buttons, including a "Run now" button.Clicking on this button, the installation proceeds, but therefore disk4 MUST BE IN THE DRIVE!Well, we all know that replacing the just installed fs9.exe file by another downloadable one with the same name, (which could also been put on our installation DVD), the installation proceeds as well, and FS9 runs 100 %. Using Ctr/C & CTrl/V this replacement is very easy and works fine. QUESTION :Could somebody help to write the respective autorun.inf that enables a automatic installation, without the need for a manual fs9.exe replacement?I've been trying with .bat commands prior to the OPEN=setup.exe , but after the execution of them, the programs stays in DOS and does not go back to the autorun.inf file on the DVD.
