I need to know something but feel a little dumb to ask but here goes. What is the definition of a AFCAD? And what is the difference between that and the term "Four letter codes:ex.......KMCO.? What does a AFCAD do that dirrers from KMCO???? (-:

KMCO is the four letter International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) code for Orlando airport (the three letter IATA code for Orlando is MCO and is what is on the luggage tags), Kennedy is KJFK, London Heathrow is EGLL and you'll see the ICAO code for Inverness, my home airport, in my sig below . You can find a list of them all at http://www.airport-technology.com/icao-codes/You need the 4 letter ICAO codes for flightplans. If you select the Go To Airport menu item in the World menu in FS9 you will see the 4 letter codes in the ID column. So type KMCO into the Airport ID box and see the result.AFCAD is a freeware CAD-style program that allows you to modify the facility data and some of the visible scenery. You can change runway and taxiway data, navaids etc. The latest version is 2.21 - search for Lee Swordy as the author here in the avsim library, or the direct download is http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=46238 . Wow!! Thanks alot Rob. While I got you here...............is there a link where I can get detailed info on the A380? And one more tinny thing...........what keys to I use to get top down view. I forgot!!!And thank you for your above explanation. I ment to ask that question a long time ago but I thot simmers wld think I'm nuts!!Tim

Top down: You forgot? Could I suggest you spend a bit of time and learn your way around the FS menu system, it isn't hard and it provides some useful info. In the Options menu select controls->assignments then scroll down until you see the views assignments, but assuming you haven't changed the top down default it is CTRL+SA380: haven't you done a google search? The first result I get using A380 as the search term is the Wikipedia site which gives lots of info (the direct link is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_A380).
