December 16, 200718 yr I have the CH yoke and CH rudder pedals. My question is about slipping. I am unable to do either forward or side slips with the small GA aircraft in FS 9. As an example, the J3 Cub...bank left, right rudder and in a moment the aircraft simply make a normal left turn. Does anyone know how to do it? Perhaps with some modification to the cfg file? Thanks, Roger
December 16, 200718 yr I just did it with both the default Cub & Cessna 172. You'll only be able to use aileron to the degree, that you don't run out of opposite rudder to stay on the same track across the ground.I prefer some RealAir Simulations planes for slips, because they've made slips & spins a specialty, and it's just more FUN. However, I made a few slips to the runway with the FS9 CUB, and the Hillsbourgh airport included with FlightScenery's Portland. Slipping over the fence with excellent scenery and moving vehicles along the country road, was fun too!L.Adamson
