FS9 - has got to go!

I've been unable to trace the cause of fs9 CTD's; in trying to sort the problem out, I have succeeded in making things 10 times worse!!So I've decided I need to clear out fs9 and associated folders from my 'G' Partition, then replace fs9 from a backup DVD that I made on the 11th, December 2007; before the CTD problem. I'm happy with that decision, so far!?My problem is, I don't know how to go about doing that. The 'G' Partition only contains fs9 and associated folders and nothing else. Can I just reformat that Partition or do I remove whatever I can via Add/Remove then delete the rest? The Backup was made using PowerQuest Drive Image 7, so replacement should be a 'doddle' or will it?Ken
