January 1, 200818 yr Hello Gentlemen:Trying real hard to keep my frustration in check here, LOL! I decided to tidy up my hard drive today, you know the removal of unused programs and defragmentation etc. When I loaded FS2004 I was horrified to see that several of my gauges in the default C172 (my default flight) were missing. Note: this is the only aircraft that has been affected. I have so many addons that I just can bear the thought of a complete reinstall. Does anyone have an alternative solution to this problem?I have considered another default aircraft for the initialization of FS2004 but I would like this problem solved. Is there a place online to get replacement default gauges? Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
January 1, 200818 yr It's super easy. Just look through the CDs. The default planes are on one of them. (sorry i don't remember which one...but it's quicker than a re-install)-feng
January 1, 200818 yr Checkout this website:http://www.cat-tamer.com/flightsim/faq001.htmlI think you will find the gauges on Disk #2.Regards,JerryH
January 1, 200818 yr I thank you all for your valuable input. It worked! I found the gauuges on the original install disk, copied, and pasted in the gauges folder of the sim. Thanks so much. You guys rock!
