FS9 views - strange

Hi allHave just installed FS9 and launched for the first time on my new PC this morning and everything is going good. There is just one issue I have. When I clicked fly now it took me took me to the cockpit view but normally I can press any numpad key to navigate my view around the cockpit - to see around me. I tried this and I get a funny outcome where the panel stays on the screen and then i cant get back to the forward cockpit view unless I goto view/view options and click OK. My new PC look's like this:E6600 quad core2GB RAMNVidia 8800GT vista ultimateI am running it as admin. Is it something i have not set? Also is there a SP I should have for FS9 - has been ages since I installede FS and I cant remember??Thanks :)
