FS9 crash to desktop...

Featured Replies

Ok I have reinstalled FS9 onto my computer. I have service pack one installed also. The only error in the installation was the tokyo.cab couldn't be found ( very old and scratched disk ). Heres my problem since, the reinstall the only thing the sim can do is manage to crash every single time. It will happen at various times so I cant tell you it always happens in cruise etc. And at various airports. I am running the latest version of sqwuakbox3. As far has I can tell all my drivers should be up to date. I bought the computer with vista and have downgraded to XP. I downloaded all the current drivers when I reinstalled everything.Ray Blaszak

Sounds obvious to say but you must complete a FULL install. If one of your disks is corrupted, i'm sure there will be other files missing. Any missing items will cause a crash when FS9 tries to load them.
