March 14, 200323 yr I am so sorry to hear about Richard. God Bless.About the problem in hand, I have a problem with my PSS panels. The autopilot doesn't switch on. I took off from VHHH and tried to switch on the autopilot but it didn't switch on. This applies to both 777 and 747 panels. Anyone have any suggestions?
March 15, 200323 yr The first step would be to determine if there is a problem with the actual autopilot system or just the panel switch. Try hitting 'z' key to turn it on instead of clicking and see if it works. If it doesn't, the whole system is not working but if it does it may just be a panel/display problem.Cheers,Marchttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
March 15, 200323 yr To enhance functionality, PSS uses a special type of AutoPilot gauge. It is not a standard FS 2002 AutoPilot gauge. Some of the autopilot switches use tri-state.I have the GoFlight P8 module and it also doesn't work with PSS A/P.I know GoFlight is going to produce an SDK that the Panel Developers can use to support the tri-state functionality.Barry
March 15, 200323 yr Okay, I've tried clicking and pressing Z but it still won't switch on. When I click the switch, the light flashes on but then the disengage bar drops. I've also tried all 3 switches but nothing still
