When it happens to me, it is usually because I've removed something that has become referenced in a .cfg file. Most often it is a piece of scenery I've added, and didn't like. If the installation process gets the scenery into the scenery tables, removal may not get it back out. Other times the reference may be to something used in my last flight, as when I'm testing a new model, then delete it before flying something else.It isn't always you directly, installation programs do things you are not fully aware of.Easier to do this in XP, Vista tries harder to protect installed software.
