Help...my scenery textures are gone

I am using fs2002, and when I fly about 80-100 miles away from where I started my flight, my scenery textures disappear, I mean the mesh is still there, and the color of the hills etc. but no textures. Anybody have a clue what might cause this and how can I correct it. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks,Scott
