http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/tileproxy/Specific feedback regarding the Beta 7 version may also be posted in this thread.I am especially interested any problems you run into when using this version on Windows Vista.Do you see a huge performance increase over Beta 6? I find that on weaker machines (e.g. my Dual Athlon PC) the performance gains are less noticeable, whereas my new Quad core PC just flies...You will get best performance flying at mid day, where the simulator will not load light maps (as it often would during dusk or dawn). Also it is best to pick local Summer months for flying, as currently ground textures of type Summer are pre-loaded before the flight begins. About my release schedule and plans:If there are any urgent issues with this Beta 7, there may be a Beta 7.1 update.Beta 8 would appear sometime mid of this year and it WILL have a GUI and at least one additional major new technology change. Possibly Autogen, possibly seasonal textures. A more detailed road map is found in the manual.Enjoy.

OMG autogen and seasonal textures? That would be awesome. However I have to admit without autogen my frame rates are quite high. Guess it's time to upgrade.

Coming sooner than that: 30 cm/pixel. Yes, it works using 4096x4096 pixel BMP files... who would have thought.Christian
