Before I just updated to beta7 I could run fsx and enjoy the cached scenery.. but now if I don't run proxyuser I just get the default scenery. Is there a way to use the cached scenery without running proxyuser.exe? Also I've been getting some very bad blurries that I didn't get with the older version (not sure which version it was). I'm running fsx under vista. I wonder if it has anything to do with the water masking or any of the new proxyuser.ini settings.Thanks

Unfortunately that is impossible, as I am no longer fully compliant to the typical FS9 scenery layout. To keep the number of files lower, I pack 1024 small BMP files into one file which I call ".FLAT". FSX wouldn't know how to load it. ;)When TP runs, it makes the FLAT file appear to FSX as if it was individual 1024 BMPs. So you HAVE to run TP, but you can use offline mode if you don't want any net access.
