Tileproxy does not need default rivers and roads ...

Featured Replies

Hi again! After some tweaking in FS9 and using Example 2, I got a honey pot, I think. Now I find the cover so good, that I do not need any default objects (except some airports maybe). So my problem is: what is the easiest way to get rid of all these default rivers and roads, they got pretty bad behavior cutting through mesh and leaving their not nice imprints all over the area?http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/9516/ti...ultriveriy3.jpgI think I have to move out some default BGLs containing those vector objects, but which BGLs?Regards,Rysiek

Maybe editing your simulator's terrain.cfg could help. You need to remove the "flattens" that affect rivers, possibly lakes.I am not an expert on this, maybe someone in the scenery development forums knows more.Christian

Thanks, looks like this is the right way!I've found also this:"To get the full experience of this scenery you must do the following changesIn FS9.cfg: "TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=" must be changed to 21.To stop the rivers from digging into the ground you must change the offset line in terrain.cfg[Texture.1025] // stream line ....Type=1Size=4ExcludeAutogen=1MaskClassMap=3Textures=RiverSU.bmpoffset=-1"here http://www.scenerysunnmore.com/Docs/readme.html

That looks excellent - for FS9 certainly most excellent!
