March 30, 200323 yr Whenever the pilot speaks there is no static in the background. However, whenever ground, tower or ATC talk there is static in the background. Does anyone know what causes this and how to get rid of it?

March 30, 200323 yr Are you hearing, what seems to be, other voices in the background? If so, then Microsoft did that on purpose and there is no way to get rid of it that I know of. March 31, 200323 yr When talking on a real radio, the voices on the other end don't come in crystal clear. Why would they on a flight SIMULATOR? ;)
April 1, 200323 yr I think you need to decompile the default ATC 'USEnglishBig.gvp' file (using the ATCVoicePack decompiler)and replace the 'Background_ Loop_Controller' wav file which I believe is 'wavcontrol1.wav' with silence.I'll try and find time to do it and upload a fix sometime.
