A Strange Problem

Featured Replies

Here is one for the experts (at least I think so). I have had a recent problem of textures for aircraft and some scenery not loading in a small geographical area. So far around LFBO in France and LBBN in Australia. I have the add-on SIMWINGS - TOULOUSE 2005 there and it has been working just fine until a few weeks a go. In the Melbourne area of LBBN I have no add-ons and this happens also. I did to some ez-scenery stuff there and it too worked fine until this happened. I removed the bgl I made but the problem still persists. If I try to load any of these airports directly the sim just hangs (at about 1 to 3% loaded) and I have to kill the program with ctrl-alt-del (there is no CTD). If I fly in to these areas from another spot nearby that works the textures just drop out but my aircraft still works along with sound files and autopilot and such. One thing that happens is that all info for this area drops out of the GPS also. I can load a flight plan but the GPS map is just blank. I have tried to troubleshoot this but I am at the end. Can anyone shed some light on this please?I have screenshots if anyone needs them. Thanks for any help.DougDell Dimension 91001 Gig RAM3 ghz pentium 4 HT2 hard disks equal to over 400 gigabytes256 ATI 600 video cardPlenty of other bells and whistles more that enough for this fs9
