April 4, 200323 yr David, do you already have a panel for that repaint? :-)Has only the default virtual cockpit, though (yet).http://www.forums.simflight.com/files/172_1.jpghttp://www.forums.simflight.com/files/172_2.jpgCheers, Uwe
April 4, 200323 yr What are you up to, you rascal? What panel is that? It looks goooood. I'm still a VC kind of guy though but it sure would be nice to have the cowl. What have you been up to? Still in school? We are getting ready to move to Colorado pretty soon. Not looking forward to taking apart the home cockpit and putting it together! Take careDavid
April 4, 200323 yr :-) Was just wondering if you still had those 20 bucks to spare for the scholarship...The panel is a combination of Dreamfleet
April 5, 200323 yr Wow! Chemistry in Japanese! Like it wasn't hard enough already. Good luck on that! Bill Womack has offered to paint one up for me. It occurs to me that one person's $20 probably isn't very much for the effort so I will let others in the flying club know about it and have them contribute as well. Uwe, let me know if you get anywhere on the VC. I didn't know you did that stuff. I have two little gripes about the current VC (minor ones though!). One - I can't see the RPM gauge because the yoke is in the way no matter how close I move the seat (common problem on lots of models). Two - there is no carb heat (not a VC problem, I know). In fact, carb heat has no effect on the model even if you use the key command. Like I said, pretty small stuff. Take care!David
April 13, 200323 yr With the recent release of the vastly improved flight model for the default 172 by the SF260 people (can't remember the name - sorry!), I would love a repaint the resembles the 172 used at our flying club. If one of you talented artists are interested in doing it, I will be happy to donate $20 to the Richard Harvey Scholarship in your name and send you the confirmation of the transaction. Here is a photo. Thanks in advance!Davidhttp://www.ithaca.ny.us/Orgs/EHFC/pictures/66230.jpg
