Building/scenery collisions

Recommended Posts

I occasionally goof up and fly into a building or even another aircraft. When this happens, my plane just hangs in the air for a few seconds before the filght resets.I seem to recall that there is an "explode" command which can be inserted somewhere to create a more realistic demise. Can anyone tell how to do this and what the name of the file to edit is?Thanks :)

Hi Frankmo,I think you have to set the next line in the aircraft.cfg file:visual_damage=1. It could be the aircraft you using have the line:visual_damage=0.I hope this was the problem.Regards,Cees

visual_damage=1 can't be added anywhere in the aircraft.cfg You need to add it in line with each paint of the aircraft. It still may not help you out because the crash stuff has to be enabled in the model file by the author. Try it with one of the stock 2K2 aircraft, it will work with them. Then it's just trial and error with all your add-ons to see if the crash goodies have been utilized.&l;fltsim.0&r;title=Beech King Air 350sim=Beech_King_Air_350model=panel=sound=texture=kb_checklists=Beech_King_Air_350_checkkb_reference=Beech_King_Air_350_refatc_id_color=0xffffffffffatc_id=N700MSui_manufacturer=Beechcraftui_type=King Air 350ui_variation=White with yellow and blackvisual_damage=1description=The King Air in all its variants is a beautiful airplane with classic styling and graceful lines.
