April 9, 200323 yr hello, I've downloaded this good looking freeware flightplaner and am wondering it could be used ok with FS2002? The map view seems to show ok but there is no airport infomation, ILS freq and runway heading display. That's kind of bother me that it would work on FS2002 or not. I just need a flightplaner program that can display map view.
April 9, 200323 yr well, I guest it's back to RTFM. But there isn't anywhere mentioned about the compatibility with fs2002
April 9, 200323 yr Not 100% due to SFP using APLC to compile the flight plans. For some reason APLC turns off AI traffic and ATC ect. ( personally I think a backword step by Microsoft) We have used SFP since it first appeared and still continue to use it in FS2002 as it allows use of SID STAR databases and adds a great deal more realism to your airline flights. It would be a crying shame if Alex was not to make a fully compatible 2002 version, but it's freeware and Alex's time I guess is limited.Viva SFP !Ash.
April 9, 200323 yr hallo againhow can I make SFP display ICAO code in map view, what I see is only airport names.
April 9, 200323 yr Super Flight Planner! Hadn't heard that title in a while. Wow, that brought back some memories! I used it back in the FS98 days before Proflight came out. Thanks for bringing back some memories. Not sure it's good for anything now.Tim
April 9, 200323 yr just focus on the area and press ctrl+d, or if you know the code you can look it up using the search function.I still use it quite often since I make my flight plans complient with airways, sids & DP's.it's a pity that SFP is only limited to airway info encripted in default BGLs but until FSbuild will come up it's (almost)the only graphical planner available which can work outside FS.(never got along with NAV).//Mike
