Altitude Call Outs on Default 737 VC (and 2d panel)

Featured Replies

Hi all.Has anybody been able to implement altitude call outs on approach, by modifying the panel.cfg etc ?I think it makes it such more realistic and if anyone can assist in giving advice on gauge files and of course the wave files, i would greatly appreciate it !Cheers for now JONATHAN - MAnchester - UK

Dave March's Flight Deck Companion (payware) and S-Combo (freeware) programs do that. R-

How in the hell can I get rid of the callouts! They are distracting, loud and I wish I could get rid of them!Got rid of all FPDA_Boeing_Callout.gau., airbus.FPDA_A320_Callout.gau.,00.767-alt.ca.gau, FPDA_A330_Callout.gau., etc. Panel file may need tweaking.Darn it! Still there. As to adding them, find & install FPDA_Boeing_Callout.gau., & all associated sound files, and stick them in to your gauges and sound diectories.I will email them to you with pleasure.Vrystaat!

I think I may have the gauage files and sound files already.I have of course placed all gauge files into gauage directory and all sound files into root sound directory but they do not seem to want to read the altitude gauage !Would it be possible to either email them all (they may be different to the ones i have !) and with an associated modified panel / config . cfg to take these into account ?Cheers for now.JONATHANemail: [email protected]
