January 16, 200917 yr Hi,I re-installed SimConnect on my ASA slave last night (in an effort to sort out a problem I was having with IVAP on another slave) and I'm now getting the "SimConnect cannot be found" error, even though the logging on the main screen tells me SimConnect SP2 is found and instantiated (so the "....cannot be found" in little more than an embuggerance)Any suggestions on how to stop the error?Murray CraneDirector of Development for EuroHarmony VA

January 26, 200917 yr Hi,Uninstall the SP2 Simconnect and re-install it. I had this same message and that is what cleared it up for me.Thanks,Hi Jim,I'm back! Just got a new i7 machine and can once again use Active Sky. Just purchased ASA (full price, never upgraded to ASX or AS6. My fault.) I must say, ASA sure does a nice job! However, I'm experiencing the same problem as above. It does not appear to affect the operation of ASA, but it is annoying. As suggested, I tried uninstalling SimConnect from the client machine and re-installing it. No joy, still get the prompt while ASA is starting up about SimConnect missing.I've also installed the interim beta. No change.Client is an Athlon X2 laptop with Vista 64bit Premium. Server is a home built i7 with Vista 64bit Ultimate.Would you have any further suggestions?Much thanks,...jim
