in fsx acceleration the default p-51 mustang always turns slightly to the left which is helpful for racing but in free flight is slowly starting to ###### me off makeing corrections every few seconds to fly straight and level. is there any way to change it so it flies straight?

Have you tried trimming? There should be trim wheels on the lower left side of the cockpit. That plane has a lot of torque, one of the reasons it's one of my favorites.-jk

You can also try lowering the P-Factor and Torque sliders in the Realism menu. The Mustang was originally a fighter craft. Fighters are at the edge of stability so that the pilot has access to more manoeuvrability. Everything that I have read about Mustangs suggest that for novice pilots they can be a handful to cruise, although proper trim should help a lot.Jeff ShylukAssistant Managing EditorSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIM
