April 22, 200323 yr Someone in a forum mentioned using 10% fuel in the 747 for landing practice which I tried also. What a difference it makes! I always felt the landings didn't look quite right for some reason but couldn't put my finger on it but now I have. They aren't perfect yet but ALOT better! There are flap settings for speed and weight but where do you find the aircraft weight at any given point during a flight? The flap speeds are listed on the panel. In the display under fuel flow it has fuel in weight but what about total weight? Aircraft and fuel weight combined? I'm also assuming you want to land with about the 45 minutes reserve fuel onboard, right? Somewhere around there? For a smoother and better landing. Guess I could find the empty weight and add the fuel weight to it for the total but thought it may be listed in one of the displays somewhere. Thanks. William
April 22, 200323 yr I'm using that MSFS2002 Guide and it mentions takeoff weight for flap settings at 800,000 lbs and landing settings at 450,000lbs. Where do you find your current weights? I see the fuel weights but not the total weights. Maybe I don't need to know the total weight just the fuel weight? William
