user defined weather and weather add-ons

Featured Replies

hello,I use ASA and REX as weather addonswhen I launch a flight I always find "user defined weather" set as "current weather" optionshould I switch to real-time weather to have ASA/REX working their weather setup on FSX flights, should I leave the setting that way, or simply will ASA/REX do their job regardless of FSX weather setting?thanks

You should definitely leave it that way! Do not touch the weather button or get even near it. ;) If you change that settings, you will override what ASA does. Just leave it as it is and ASA will do its job.BTW I hope and presume you don't use BOTH programs at the same time (talking about the weather engine now, not about the REX textures)?

although an occasional FSX flyer, I didn't reach such heights of dumbness .......... so far :( : I was talking about separate experience in using REX/ASA weather engine....I will let the weather button alone, just like a high voltage outlet
