Using Touchscreen as second monitor

Featured Replies

I have a GTX 280 and I run Vista 64. My main monitor is a BenQ projector. Today I added a Pyle 9.2" touchscreen monitor to use for the FMC on the video card's second output.I cannot get it to work correctly. I can see the desktop and move my mouse across the screen. When I launch FSX, I get a blue screen on the touchscreen that reads "Out of Range". I believe this little monitor is only 480x234 resolution. I can;t get the NVidia control panel to show below 800x600 and when I rotate it to portrait, it says that I must be at 1024x768.I don't know enough about this to fix it and the Pyle people are useless. I have read that I need to run "multi-monitor" in FSX and possibly change the resolution of the second monitor inside the FSX.cfg file. I've looked there and do not see any place to change it.Thoughts?
